Let me tell you, the birth poster is an absolutely beautiful piece of art and a gorgeous keepsake to remember just how little your baby was at birth. We have been lucky enough to of been gifted one, I was over the moon as I had seen them everywhere online and have always thought it is such a lovely piece to put up on the wall. I am sharing this with you as I honestly think it would make an amazing gift to new parents. I know a lot of people struggle with what to buy, this is perfect in my opinion! It’s unique, beautiful and personal.
The birth poster is a 1:1 scale of your little one when they first entered this world. It contains information about their name, date of birth, time of birth, weight and length written underneath. You can customise this to include only certain information if you prefer, but for ours I put everything on. There are various styles to choose from, I went for the Aquarelle range which is a hand-painted watercolour design by artist Evelina Westman which I think beautifully represents my baby boy.
Time flies incredibly fast, it’s true what Gretchen Rubin said – the days are long but the years are short. Harvey is 2 and a half now and honestly amazes me every day with how much he’s learning and growing. Here are some photos of Harvey and his birth poster, I think it is such a wonderful keepsake – now I have all of that important information printed and up on his wall. Just look how proud he is of the poster hehe!
