I have tested many different ratios to make this Korean dipping sauce, however I think this is the best one.
This sauce is perfect for anything savoury, it began as a dip for my Korean pancakes (recipe here), but now I use it for all kinds of savoury dishes. It adds a zingy flavour to anything a bit plain, I think it would even go great with a boiled potato!

Sweet, Tangy Korean Dipping Sauce
A sweet, yet tangy sauce to compliment a savory pancake
Servings: 2 people
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tbsp chinese vinegar
- 1 tbsp white sugar
- 2 tbsp water
- 1/2 green spring onion (finely chopped)
- 1 fresh red/green chilli (finely chopped) optional
- 1 tsp white toasted sesame seeds optional
Instructions
- Mix all ingredients together in a dipping pot and serve with Korean pancake or other savory dish
